All meetings are held on MONDAY evenings between 7.30pm to 9.15pm at:

December 5th  - Identification and Discussion Circle. Fossils and Minerals.

December 12th - Club evening with Interest Tables. Topic: Native Elements


January 2012

January 9th - Club Evening with guide to fascilities for the newer members.

January 16th - Club Evening.

January 23rd - Club Evening.

January 30th - Minerals beginning with G, H, or I.
(i.e. The garnet group, Hemimorphite or Iolite).


February 2012

February 6th - Club Evening. Cabochon making tuition for beginners.

February 20th - Identification evening. Not sure what that polished stone or fossil is? Bring along those Gemmological, Mineralogical or Palaeontological mysteries. Perhaps someone else in the club can help!

February 27th - Talk by Tony Mitchell - Subject T.B.A.


March 2012

March 5th - Club Evening with Interest Tables - Topic: Fossils beginning with D, E, F.
i.e. Dactylioceras (Ammonite), Elrathia (Trilobite), Favosites (Coral).

March 12th - Club Evening with Peter Martin's Introduction to Carving Minerals.

March 19th - Club Evening with interest tables. Polished stone carvings and artifacts.

March 26th - Club Evening with interest tables. Polished and fashioned EGGs - cut from stone.

Easter Break
